Hoey Construction Co. is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma and serving clients all over the United States for over forty years. HCC was founded in 1979 by Paul Hoey, Sr.

Under the leadership of Michael and Philip Hoey, together they bring over fifty years of construction experience to Hoey Construction Co. with an emphasis on quality construction, strong personal and business relationships and building on the Hoey legacy.

Our firm’s foundation is built on having the vast experience required to achieve successful project completion.

HCC LEADERSHIP

Meet Michael Hoey

Michael Hoey began working on his father’s construction sites as a laborer and carpenter foreman. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1989 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management. For 20 years following graduation, he gained additional experience working for large construction firms in Atlanta, Georgia, ranging from estimating and project management to his role as an Owner’s Representative to Group Vice President until he returned to his roots in Oklahoma with his family business.

Michael’s extensive construction experience in healthcare includes St. Mary’s Hospital, Norman Regional Hospital, Saint Francis Muskogee Hospital, Cobb General Hospital, Egleston Children’s Hospital, Northeast Georgia Heart Center and Sunrise Assisted Living Centers to name a few.

​In addition, Michael brings a strong mix of construction experience in other areas such as schools and universities, hotels, churches and office buildings of all sizes. His experience is vast in both renovation projects and new construction. 

On a personal note, Michael is “Dad” to four beautiful children and, when he has time, enjoys playing soccer and golf.  He gives back to the community by serving on the Board with Tulsa Route 66 Main Street and volunteering at their fundraising events.

HCC LEADERSHIP

Meet Philip Hoey

Philip Hoey began his career in construction at the age of 16 as a laborer, carpenter and drywall installer with Hoey Construction Co. and worked with his father until he graduated from college. Phil graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management. After graduation, he relocated to Springfield, Missouri, to work for Frito-Lay as a sales associate, moving up the corporate ladder to sales manager and managing accounts totaling $23 million in sales per year. Phil rejoined HCC in 2000, and brought with him a wide range of sales and marketing experience, an asset to the growth of the company.

Phil’s experience includes a wide variety of projects from new construction to retail and restaurant franchises across the country, managing to open 60 retail locations in 8 months. 

Phil and his wife enjoy being part of the local community, you can find them out and about enjoying all Tulsa has to offer!  Phil also enjoys golfing, hunting, soccer, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
